Arabi21 published yesterday an article headed: “Pro Assad Militia Commander Turns from a Painter into a Rich Man,” which handled a Shabiha group commander, Ali Mhanna; with a “photo from the archive” of gunmen, among them a bearded man attached.
Media office in Levant Front, military opposition group, contacted Verify-SY and told that the photo in Arabi21 website is belongs to opposition combatants. “The one in the middle of the photo is commander in Levant Front, Mohammad Hamadin,” head of media office said.
“The media office requested Arabi21 to delete the photo and apologise to the commander Mohammad Hamadin and sent a correction to Arabi21 but the website did not respond,” a media official in Levant Front said.
Commander Hamadin is one of the early defectors from Assad Army and a founder of Tawhid Brigade. Hamadin has occupied recently the position of Military Commander of Levant Front.
