Later, Syrian journalist Mohammed Al-Faisal stated on Facebook that Campbell and Stewart attributed the claim about Al-Shaybani’s presence in Iraq to their interview with Al-Sharaa, suggesting that the information came directly from the president. However, this is also false, as Al-Sharaa never made such a statement during the interview.
