These are not prisoners in Afrin

Pro-PYD social media news pages and accounts shared yesterday a video recording showing a number of people introducing their nicknames to the interviewer, including foreigners.

The video publishers said that those people were captured in the area of ​​Afrin, in reference to the elements of the forces involved in Operation "Olive Branch."

In the reverse search conducted by Verify-Sy platform on the video referred to, turned out that it has been posted on social media websites since November 2017 by pro-Assad regime news pages, saying they are ISIS prisoners captured by the "Syrian Army."

Verify-Sy platform couldn't confirm the exact time and location of the recording, but being posted since last year denies any connection to the Operation Olive Branch.
