This photo is not from Busr al-Harir in Daraa but from Damascus countryside

Social media pages and personal accounts shared a photo of civilian area before and after destruction, the upper part shows a huge destruction and dated “19/6/2018” and the second part before destruction and dated “4/1/2012”.

Photo’s publishers said this photo from Busr al-Harir town in Daraa countryside in reference to intense bombardment on the area in the past few days by Assad regime and its militias on rebels-held Daraa countryside.

Verify-Sy searched for the source of this photo and it turns out it is not from Daraa countryside but from Harran al-Awamid town in Eastern Ghouta which witnessed an intense bombardment by Assad regime and Russia.

Verify-Sy attach a photo of the same area published by Iranian news channel “al-Alam” on 14/2/2017 showing the same mosque with the green domes and damaged minaret and claimed this destruction was caused by “terrorists”.
