Russia Today Published falsified information on Daraa countryside

Claim

Russia Today news channel published today on its official Arabic Twitter account several tweets citing “military sources” that Assad regime will launch an attack against ISIS in Tafas town in Daraa western countryside.

Verify-Sy would like to remind audience that Tafas town in Daraa western countryside is under full control of FSA groups and no ISIS presence in the area.

Verify-Sy attach a map of control showing that nearest ISIS presence to Tafast town is 9km where ISIS controls towns and villages in Yarmouk Plain.
