The Combatant Who Cut off the Liwa al-Quds Militia's Combatant is Not in the Photo

Pro-Assad social media activists shared a photo on today of a group of combatants with the photographer who took the child Omran’s photo after his house was bombed in Aleppo city. They say Mahmud Raslan, the photographer is with “the terrorist” who cut off a Liwa al-Quds combatant’s head two months ago.

Verify-SY checked the photo which has gone viral. There are two combatants from Harakat Nour Al-Din Zenki opposition military group in the photo. Their names are Omar Salakho and Mayouf Abu Bahr.

The militant who cut off the Liwa al-Quds militia combatant is called Matin Abu Mohammed and he was sentenced to be prisoned for committing the aforementioned crime.
