Hijab didn’t resign from High Negotiations Committee

Syrian social media pages and websites shared news saying Riad Hijab resigned from his post as opposition High Negotiations Committee General coordinator.

The websites said Hijab told Saudi foreign minister Adel al-Joubair of his resign few days ago for health-related reason.

Sources close to Hijab denied to Verify-Sy the resignation claim, Hadi al-Bahra the ex-Syrian Coalition chairman said Hijab still at his post as the general coordinator for HNC denying claims that he resigned.

Verify-Sy tried to contact Riad Hijab but didn’t get an answer yet but a close source said he’s being treated in USA but said he didn’t decide to resign.
