This photo is not for Issam Zahereddin

Anti-Assad regime Syrian news pages and personal accounts shared a photo of a male body with white beard and said it is for Brigadier General in Assad regime army Issam Zahereddin wrapped in Iranian flag.

Verify-Sy would like to remind audience that his photo is not for Zahereddin but for an Iranian general who was killed in Aleppo southern countryside in clashes between rebels and regime backed by foreign militias in 2015.

“Orient News” website shared this photo and said it is for an Iranian general called Hussain Hamdani who according to the website is the highst rank Iranian officer killed in Syria on 8/10/2015, he is the deputy commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC and deputy of Qudus Legion Qassem Sulimani.

Worth to mention that pro-regime media announced today the death of Brigadier General Issam Zahereddin in landmine explosion in Hwayjet al-Saqer in Deir Ezzor province.
