This photo is not for PMU commander Abu Izrael

Syrian and Iraqi social media pages shared a photo of a dead man with long black beard and said it is for Iraq PMU militia Abu Izrael.

Verify-Sy searched for the source of the photo and turns out it is old and not for Abu Izreal, during the search it turns out it was posted on internet on 13 April 2015 on twitter saying it is for an ISIS commander who was killed by Peshmerga forces in Hwaija in Iraq.

Verify-Sy can’t determinate who is in the photo but it was posted 2 years ago which deny it is for Abu Izreal who appeared in videos lately.

On the other side Iraqi social media pages close to PMU denied claims that Abu Izrael was killed saying Brigade 40 in which he fight with didn’t participate in latest clashes between Peshmerga and PMU.
