Regime forces don't control more than 51% of Syria

Russian president Putin said Assad regime forces control around 98% of Syria, saying the decrease in "terrorists" in Syria. 

Putin said this during a meeting in Sochi with Czech president Zimman, Russia Today quoted Putin that terrorists points still active but will be destroyed soon by Russian airstrikes and its Syrian allies. 

Verify-Sy would like to remind audience that Putin claim that Assad regime forces control 98% of Syria is not true because huge areas are still out of Assad control. 

SDF control vast majority of Raqqa and Hasakah provinces in addition to parts of Deir Ezzor and Aleppo eastern countryside while rebels control different areas in Syria including majority of Idlib province, parts of Daraa province, Damascus eastern Ghouta, Homs northern countryside and north Aleppo while ISIS still control villages in south and west Deir Ezzor. 

According to map by Toran center of power control in Syria in 16 November show regime forces control no more than 51% of Syria while SDF control 25% and opposition 14% and ISIS 10%.
