Today's regime news pages circulated the images of a wreckage, like a missile, saying that, "They are the wreckage of enemy aircraft was trying to target Damascus." .

The photos' publishers said that, the air defense system belonging to al- Assad army has dropped the hostile planes, referring to the Israeli planes that targeted military sites at dawn today, in the Syrian capital Damascus.

During the investigation conducted by the platform- Verify, turned out that the published images belong to the missile that fell in Anaba town in the Jordanian city of Irbid last March. After being intercepted by Israel during its raids on Syrian positions.

"Russia Today" then quoted from media sources that the missile was fired by Syrian army towards Israel in response to Israeli raids on Syrian sites, pointing out that the announcement of the Israeli army that its anti- aircraft had been intercepted missiles fired at its aircrafts.
