Regime Tartous Education Directorate Didn’t Issue Solidarity Statement with Opposition Aleppo Education Directorate

Social media news pages and personal account shared an alleged statement by Tartous education directorate affiliated with Assad regime ministry of education in solidarity with opposition-affiliated Aleppo education directorate.

The statement said Tartous directorate will participate in strike on Monday in protest for the detention of Mohamad Mostafa the head of education directorate affiliated with Syrian opposition and it was signed by someone called “Ali Haydar” as the head of Tartous education directorate.

Verify-Sy would like to remind the audience that this statement is fake the head of Tartous education directorate is called “Abdulkareem Izzet Harba” not “Ali Haydar” as the alleged solidarity statement said.

Worth to mention that the head of Aleppo education directorate Mohamad Mostafa has been detained by Nour Eddin Zinki rebel group for a month following corruption allegations according to group commander Husam al-Atrash.
