The Syrian writer Diana Kamal El-Din published a post on her page on “Facebook” accompanied by pictures of civilian victims, including children, who were killed due to the fall of explosive shells near them, accusing the Syrian opposition of killing them. Meanwhile, search results showed that the pictures are for victims who died due to the bombing of the Assad forces and his allies in areas under the control of the armed Syrian opposition in separate regions of Syria.

Journalists, activists, and news pages on the social networking site “Facebook” circulated pictures of a gunman tearing up a picture of Bashar al-Assad. However, the search results showed that the image was extracted from a video posted on YouTube in 2013.
