Pro-PYD pages shared photos of dead men wearing military camouflage laid on the ground and a fighter standing next to them with YPG flag in his hand.

The pages said the photos is of 32 dead fighter from “Erdogan mercenaries” in reference to FSA fighters who were killed in their attack on Efrin according to those pages.

Verify-Sy searched for the origin of those photos and turns out it is from April 2016 when dozens of FSA fighters were killed in clashes with YPG fighters in Ayn Deqna village in Aleppo northern countryside.

On Tuesday 13 June fierce clashes between FSA and YPG erupted following YPG attack on Deir Samaan near Daret Ezza in Aleppo western countryside led to more than 30 casualties from both sides.
