Syrian social media pages shared lately news saying Turkish government fined BIM supermarkets for raising prices after the fall of Turkish lira.
The pages said the government fined BIM 50k Turkish lira while others said 50k $.
BIM issued a statement today denied it was fined and said that Turkish trade ministry is observing the prices and markets now.
Verify-Sy also points out that BIM supermarkets' still up for now and didn't return to old prices.
Worth to mention that the prices of many food products in Turkey went up after Turkish lira fall in addition to the increase in bread prices 25%.
