Groups and personal accounts on social media sites circulated today, a picture of a Turkish-language paper, for what they said was a fine for a Syrian for traveling to a Turkish state other than the state in which he was registered without a "travel permit".
Image publishers indicated that the person who has been convicted of the violation of the above-mentioned photo/graph stated that the penalty included a fine of 500 Turkish lira, with a three-day prison term and a period of time to return to the state in which he was registered within five days.
Verify- Sy platform would like to draw the followers' attention to the fact that the paper appearing in the picture referred to does not include the imposition of any fine or prison sentence for the person to whom it was released.
As what Verify- Sy translated, the paper says that the person who signed it, was arrested in the Turkish city of Sakarya by the date on which he is registered in the state of Istanbul. He is therefore granted five days to return to the state where he is registered. Otherwise, legal measures will be taken against him.
It should be noted that the Turkish authorities impose on the Syrians residing on its territory and those wishing to travel from one state to another, to apply for a "travel permit" from the Department of Immigration of the state in which each person is registered, which in turn grants permission ranging from one week to 15 days after providing justification for travel.
