Social media news pages and personal accounts shared a video showing the moment the podium collapsed when someone was delivering a speech.
The pages and accounts said the Chad president Idris Deby faced an embarrassing moment when the podium collapsed when he was delivering a speech to the crowd.
Verify-Sy searched for the source of this claim and it turns out it didn’t happen in Chad but in Nigeria, this incident happened in Kebbi, Nigeria during a campaign meeting of People’s Democratic Party PDP candidate Isah Muhammad Galaudi on Monday.
Several members of the party including the candidate suffered light injuries according to Daily Post Nigeria.
