Social media accounts and pages shared news saying armed opposition “Moutasim Brigade” left its positions around Marea in north Aleppo to Russian forces under US supervision.

The news added that this withdrawal is the beginning to open crossing between Assad regime-held areas and armed opposition-held areas in north Aleppo.

Verify-Sy reporter in Marea city in north Aleppo denied this claim saying Moutasim Brigade forces are still in its positions inside Marea city which is under armed opposition control.

In his turn the head of the political office of Moutasim Brigade Mostafa Sijari in statement to verify-Sy denied withdrawing from its points in Mare’a saying this claim is by pro-Assad and mercenaries according to his statement.

Worth to mention that in Marea other armed opposition too including Levant Front, al-Safwa Battalions, al-Mostafa Brigades and al-Hamza brigade which doesn’t allow Moutasim Brigade to do such a deal without the approval from other groups.
