The book is the first attempt in a series of subsequent attempts to codify the results of the interaction of verification platforms operating in conflict and war zones, foremost of which is Syria, with disinformation and combating it.

It presents what concerns specialists and non-specialists between the two covers of the book, which is 230 pages, of tools and mental and technical skills, which began by defining disinformation and its motives, and moved to explain the concept of clash and its features, passing through the issue of sources, tools to assist in verification, and ending with open source investigations.
