Social media pages and personal accounts shared a video yesterday showing men wearing police uniform stealing from a shop.
Video publishers said the video taken from CCTV cameras at the shop showing police officers stealing are from Iranian anti-riot police.
Following a reverse search conducted by Verify-Sy turns out this video is from Mexico and it caused a stir after it was broadcasted by TV channels.
Mexican authority according to the general director of internal affairs in Mexican police said they received emails and Twitter message complaining on such unacceptable behavior by police during the operation.
Mexican authority said it will punish who did the crimes and the penalty will be discipline or discharge by justice and integrity council.
