Social media news pages and personal accounts shared news saying 105 immigrants drowned in the Mediterranean Sea near Libyan shores on Thursday,
The pages and accounts shared photos of children's bodies appears to be drowned but these photos are from 2015 when 105 people drowned after the collapse of a boat carrying immigrants near Libya.
Following a search conducted by Verify-Sy we saw no news on the death of immigrants near Libyan shores on Thursday while Doctors Without Borders said one of its rescue ships saved 11 immigrants near Libyan shores on Thursday.
